This fictional account of a family describes the true headline news of the horrific Tennessee Children’s Home Society operated by Georgia Tann in Memphis, Tennessee, from the 1920s to 1950. The voice of Rill Foss as she and her sisters are kidnapped from their life on the river, brought to the orphanage and eventually adopted by wealthy parents is heard, strong and true.
Join the Novel Bunch on the lower level patio for an outdoor in-person discussion! Picnic tables are available or bring your own lawn chair. Masks are required. The meeting will be moved indoors in the case of bad weather.
