On March 7, Phase II of the Library solar project begins. The carport structures will be installed, then topped by 324 solar panels. This phase of construction is expected to take 3 months, so the lower parking lot will be closed through May 20th. The Library will be open during this time but, visitors will need to use the upper parking lots and book drop on Locust Lane.

The Friends of the Library Solar by ’22 fundraising campaign is still underway. $58,444.63 of the $65,000 has been raised to date — that equals 292 solar panels!
