Mister Rogers Book and Movie List
Fred McFeely Rogers (March 20, 1928 – February 27, 2003), the creator and host of public television’s “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” entertained, educated and taught tolerance and acceptance to children for 31 seasons. He’s even considered to have saved public television with his compelling testimony before the Senate Subcommittee on Communications in 1969, helping secure $20 million in federal funding for the newly formed Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
