Free programs are offered year round for children, teens, adults and families. Be sure to visit our Events page for current and upcoming programs.

Children’s Programs

Storytime programs are throughout the year. A summer reading program for all ages begins after school ends and lasts for six weeks during summer. Parents and childcare providers can borrow theme boxes on a variety of topics and take advantage of the special Children’s Resource Collection. With advanced scheduling, special programs and tours can be provided to teachers, classrooms and childcare providers. For more information regarding children’s services contact us.

Teen Programs

Teen programs include art, crafts, book clubs, theater, movies and more. Check the Events page to see what is currently offered or contact us with an idea for a future program.

Adult Programs

Adult programs include author talks, book clubs, movies, crafts, musical performances, informational sessions, technology training and more. For more information visit the Events page.

Outreach Programs

Homebound Delivery

We provide homebound service with personalized delivery of library materials to persons confined to their homes due to:

Physical disability,
Extended illness, or
Significant transportation problems.

Items are selected based on patron requests and preferences, and are delivered once a month. There is no fee for this service. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help select and deliver materials to homebound patrons. Volunteers must be able to:

Donate 2-4 hours per month for delivery purposes,
Complete a training session, and
Provide their own transportation.

Storytelling in the Schools

We offer classroom storytelling opportunities to teachers in K-6th grades. Visits need to be scheduled in advance and stories centering around specific themes can be requested. There is no fee for this service. For more information contact us.

Caregivers of children, schools, and other organizations may request a collection to be delivered to them.
