Request a Meeting Room

Please read the Library’s Meeting Room Policies below before making your reservation request.

  • Meetings may be scheduled during open library hours: Monday-Thursday 9 am – 7 pm, Friday 10 am – 5 pm, and Saturday 10 am – 4 pm.
  • Meetings may exceed beyond open hours until 9 pm Monday – Thursday.
  • Meeting rooms may be requested 60 days beyond the current month.

If you are advertising your event, please specify that it is not a library sponsored program.

To make a reservation request online:

  • Review and agree to our Meeting Room Policies
  • Click the Make a Reservation Request Button
  • Enter the date and time requested in the filter bar
  • Find your desired meeting room
  • Click the “Book Now” button or desired start time for the desired room
  • Log in with your library card number and PIN 1234 or use your email address to register as a guest
  • If you meeting ends after Library closing select the latest time for your ending time and enter the actual ending time in the field at the end of the form.

You will receive an email acknowledging your meeting room request. Once your request has been reviewed you will receive a second email approving or denying your room request. To check the status of your reservation click the Manage Booking in your email.

Meeting Room Reservation Policy

The Brown County Public Library provides free access to meeting rooms when not in use for Library purposes. While intended for area non-profit and community groups, individuals may be granted use if space allows. Use for Zoom calls is limited to 3 hours. For profit entities may request use for training or informational programming. The meeting rooms are not intended to be used as a substitute for personal office space nor should they be used for personal gain. No private parties. Donations are accepted.

All Library policies are to be adhered to, in addition to the following:
  • All meetings must be open for anyone to attend.
  • Meeting room schedule may be posted on our website.
  • No fees can be collected except to cover the cost of materials associated with the meeting. Fundraising event requests need prior approval by the Library Board of Trustees. Contact the Library Director at director@browncountylibrary.info for more information.
  • Participant names cannot be collected for profit.
  • Absolutely no selling or soliciting permitted.
  • Furniture may be moved but should be returned to the original layout. Only staff may close the partitions and adjust the gas fireplace.
  • Outside doors may not be propped open.
  • Rooms must be reserved by and have an adult present for the duration of the meeting.
  • If your program exceeds the library’s open hours then you are required to turn off the lights, leave the restroom key on the library stairs, and ensure outside doors close.
  • Exceptions to these rules are at the discretion of the Library Board of Trustees.
