BCPL Year-long Reading Challenge
The annual Brown County Public Library Year-long Reading Challenge is open to adults and teens 13 and older. It’s fun and easy to do! Just select a challenge and read a book for each of the prompts and record it in your reading log. Don’t forget complete your reading log and return it to the Library by December 31st.
Throughout the year you will receive emails with suggested reading lists and suggestions to help you complete your challenges. Remember, all types of books are qualify for the challenges: Adult, YA, Juvenile, Mid Grade, e-books and audiobooks.

2026 Annual Reading Challenge
This year’s Challenge runs from January – December 31 and features 50 prompts. Complete 25 to achieve “Book Nerd” status, or read all 50 and claim the “Extreme Book Nerd” title.
It will have you reading everything from books about horses to graphic novels. It’s a great way to diversify your reading!
