Library Lovers Bookmark Design Contest

Celebrate Library Lovers Month and design a bookmark showing your love for libraries, reading and books!
Contest runs February 1-29, 2024
Entries must be submitted to the Library by Thursday, February 29.
Contest is open to all artists age 5 through adult. Entries will be selected from two age groups: Kids (grades K-6) and Teen/Adult (grade 7 – adult.)
Winners will be announced on Friday, March 8. Winners will receive the honor of having their artwork professionally printed along with 10 copies of their winning bookmark. The remaining bookmarks will be available to Library visitors while supplies last.
Rules
- Create your original artwork in the box on the entry form. Entry Forms are available at the Library or you can download a copy to print at home.
- Copyright images are not allowed. This includes pictures cut from magazines or books, clipart, and reproductions of characters created by another artist.
- Use any media you like including traditional materials like paint, crayons, colored pencil, and pastels, as well as collage and digital art. Digital submissions should be printed in high resolution at full size (2.125” x 8.125”).
- Remember — glitter, shiny and 3D elements do not reproduce well.
- Keep important words or elements at least 1/4” inside the box on the entry form.
- All entries become the property of Brown County Public Library.
