Neptune is our newest favorite friend!!!!

Neptune the Raccoon is the new mascot for the Brown County Public Library Summer Reading Program.  Neptune made his debut at the annual school visits with Miss Stori and Mrs. Sechler. With a voice suspiciously similar to our new library director’s, Neptune has quickly become a favorite at the library.  Say hi to him when you visit the library to sign up for Summer Reading 2012.

Welcome to our new library website!

Hello and welcome to our new website. You can check out the latest library news, view the calendar of events, search the library catalog, renew your books from home, and so much more. In anticipation of our Summer Reading Program we’ve been making trips to the elementary schools to  encourage students to sign up and take advantage of all the activities we have to offer this summer. However the program is not just for kids, all ages are encouraged to participate. Sign-up begin on Tuesday, May 29th.

We hope you visit us this summer at the main library in Nashville and at our Cordry Sweetwater branch. We have a lot to offer our patrons. If you don’t have a library card yet, this would be a good time to get one. For information on who may obtain a library card and what you need to bring with you, refer to our Frequently Asked Questions page.
