Brown Co. Public Library welcomes Nancy Warren as our speaker for the next Family Histories & Mysteries meeting. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m in Room B.

Nancy is a longtime Columbus resident with a rich history.  In addition to her professional work advocating on behalf of abused and neglected children (both locally and in Washington, D.C.) and a career in property management, Nancy has also pursued her passion for flying as a pilot.  Some of Nancy’s many accomplishments and affiliations include being a 30-year member of the Ninety-Nines, International Organization of Women Pilots, Executive Vice President of the United Flying Octogenarians, and the first woman to serve on the Columbus Board of Aviation Commissioners.  Nancy is also an accomplished columnist for a number of local and national publications and the author of “Wings of My Own,” her autobiography.  One of her great adventures includes flying a DC-3 plane over Africa on a United Nations operation.
